Building Leaders of Tomorrow: The Gera School's
Leadership Curriculum

about us

The Gera School's Leadership Curriculum places a particular emphasis on critical leadership and business abilities. We offer a wide range of topics through interesting seminars to nurture future leaders. Setting goals is emphasized, giving pupils the ability to recognize their dreams and design practical strategies for achieving them. Collaborative cooperation is also encouraged since effective leaders are adept at collaborating with others to achieve common goals.

We understand how critical it is to address personal development during this pivotal time in kids' life, including puberty and growing up. Our programme guarantees their growth and well-being by offering direction and assistance. We also put a high priority on student safety by teaching them how to be safe in a variety of situations, both for themselves and for others.

Important components incorporated into our programme include manners, decency, and empathy. We think that effective leadership requires both emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal abilities. Additionally, it is stressed how crucial it is to establish relationships in order to achieve the significant (and previously mentioned) objective of cooperative teamwork.

Our Leadership Curriculum gives students a comprehensive awareness of the world and gets them ready for an uncertain future. It blends invisibly with our larger life skills programme. Our goal is to develop leaders who can have a good impact on society and who are rational, inventive, humane, and compassionate.

We emphasize the emotional growth of our students in our Circle Time sessions in addition to the Leadership Curriculum. Students can work through their issues and uncertainties in a safe and encouraging environment during these sessions, and they also learn how to help others find solutions. Circle Time helps children develop their speaking and listening abilities as well as the crucial habit of contemplation.

Leadership as a skill can’t be taught, only built. In most facets of society, including business, politics, religion, and social and community-based groups, leaders are present and necessary. People who make wise, sometimes challenging decisions are considered to be leaders. They set attainable objectives, express a clear vision, and give followers the information and resources they need to reach those objectives.

The following qualities define an effective leader: excellent interpersonal and communications skills, self-esteem, critical and creative thinking, persistence, risk-taking attitude, adaptability, composure, and crisis management responsiveness.
